Mrs. Margaret Inusa Meka Speaking At The Unveiling Of KIC NIGERIA 2015

Speaking very passionately, Mrs. Margaret Inusa Meka (President, Sweet Relationship Network and Host, Sweet Relationship Talk Show on Peace 90.5 FM, Jos) drew our attention to how our founding fathers paid more attention to regionalism rather than nationalism. This, she explained, is the foundation on which ethnicity, sectionalism and religion was built.
Based on this, she stressed the need to look beyond religion to morality.

Margaret, who also doubles as the Senior Pastor, Glorious Life Int’l Church (GLIC) in Jos, also drew the attention of Plateau Radio Television Corporation (PRTVC) and National Orientation Agency (NOA) to the power of the media especially on youths and the need to start producing and broadcasting media contents from Jos for Plateau State, rather than foreign content only.
Stressing further, she reminded everyone present that it was Jos who birthed the best of music and Nollywood such as MI, Ice Prince, Saint Obi, Emeka Ike, Desmond Elliot, etc, but unfortunately all of them are now lost to Lagos because of poor infrastructures and support for creativity and tourism on the Plateau. She expressed her hope and confidence in the new government led by Bar. Simon B. Lalong, the leadership at NOA and PRTVC to improve on creativity and tourism support on the Plateau.
For her, what Nigeria needs today is orientation and not just arrests and jails. She cited countries like Dubai and Switzerland as countries that are developing and growing because of their focus on Values and Ethical orientation.
She concluded by saying, “I believe that Nigeria is recycling, I see a future where people in government will have integrity. I wish in my own time there was a competition like Kommon Sense Inter-College Competition (KIC NIGERIA), I believe I would have been a better person”.
